Official Rules 30 Days Walking Steps

10,000 Steps-A-Day Challenge (30 Days) Rules

These rules exist to keep the challenge fair, measurable, and enforceable. Participation requires daily proof. No backfills. No loopholes.

Daily Target: 10,000 steps Success Threshold: 27 / 30 days Proof: Step-tracker screenshot

1) Overview

The goal is simple: hit 10,000 steps each day for 30 days and prove it. This is a discipline challenge built around daily movement—walking, pacing, treadmill steps, and lifestyle steps all count as long as your tracker records them.

Core principle: This is not “try your best.” This is daily execution with proof.

2) Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to participate.
  • You must have a reliable step-tracking method (phone Health app, Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, etc.).
  • You must maintain access to the MWYMI portal to submit proof.
  • Participation may be void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Health note
Walking is low-impact but not risk-free. Participate within your ability. If you have medical concerns (heart, breathing, dizziness, orthopedic issues, pregnancy, etc.), consult a professional before starting.

3) Daily Requirements

To earn credit for a day, you must complete both requirements below:

  • Requirement A — Steps: Record at least 10,000 steps on your tracker for that calendar day.
  • Requirement B — Proof: Submit your proof the same calendar day inside the MWYMI portal.
What counts: outdoor walking, treadmill walking, pacing, work/lifestyle steps, and track walking—if your device records it.
No backfills. “I hit it yesterday but forgot to submit” does not count. Same-day proof only.

4) Proof Standards

Your proof must be verifiable and clearly tied to that day.

  • Submit a screenshot/photo from your step tracker showing:
    • Date (today)
    • Total steps (10,000+)
  • Proof must be readable (no blurry images, no cropped-out date).
  • MWYMI may review patterns to protect integrity.
Best practice: Use the same tracker consistently for the entire challenge.

5) Accepted & Not Accepted

Accepted proof examples:
  • Apple Health / Fitness app screenshot showing today’s steps
  • Fitbit / Garmin / Samsung Health screenshot showing date + steps
  • Photo of watch screen showing steps + date (if visible)
  • Treadmill walk + device tracker screenshot (steps must be recorded by tracker)
Not accepted:
  • Old screenshots reused across different days
  • Screenshots with the date hidden/cropped out
  • Handwritten notes like “I did 10k”
  • “Estimated steps” with no tracker evidence
  • Backdated or bulk “catch-up” submissions
Device issues / syncing delays
Sync issues happen. You are responsible for submitting proof on time. If your device syncs late, submit the best available same-day screenshot (showing today’s progress) and add a short note. Repeated “sync excuses” may be treated as non-compliance.

6) Integrity & Quality Standard

  • Submissions must be in good faith.
  • Suspicious patterns (reused images, repeated identical totals, edited images) may be flagged.
  • Attempted manipulation may result in disqualification.
Integrity standard: clean proof protects fairness. If it looks like fraud, it gets treated like fraud.

7) Completion Threshold

  • You must complete at least 27 of 30 days to pass.
  • Missed days are allowed within the threshold.
  • Missed days cannot be made up later.
Translation: you don’t need perfection. You do need consistency.

8) Disqualification & Enforcement

MWYMI may disqualify a participant to protect fairness and platform integrity, including for:

  • Backdating, tampering, editing screenshots, or attempted system manipulation.
  • Reusing the same proof across multiple days.
  • Harassment, abusive behavior, or violations of platform policies.
  • Chargebacks or payment disputes inconsistent with actual platform use.
No loopholes: If you’re trying to “game it,” you’re already failing the point of the challenge.

9) Entry Fees, Refunds, and Chargebacks

  • Entry fees are displayed at checkout and are generally non-refundable once the challenge begins.
  • If you are removed/disqualified for integrity violations, entry fees are forfeited.
  • Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account restriction and loss of access.

Refund terms must match your official Refund Policy. Link it below and keep this page consistent with it.

10) Data & Privacy

  • We process account, payment, and submission data to operate the challenge.
  • We may use aggregated (non-identifying) data to improve the platform.
  • For details, review our Privacy Policy.
