Reading Habit Challenge (30 Minutes / Day)
30 minutes a day. Every day. Same-day proof.
No “I’ll read more.” No “I meant to.”
Just the hardest thing to fake: daily receipts of focused reading.
Clear rules. Clean proof. Real discipline.
Daily Standard
30 Minutes / Day
Proof: reading timer + page evidence
Max participants: 200
Why this challenge matters
Reading is one of the highest-return habits on earth — but most people “want to read” without ever building the identity.
This challenge forces the difference-maker: daily focused time.
Twenty minutes a day compounds into knowledge, clarity, vocabulary, better decision-making, and stronger attention.
What you must do
Complete 30 minutes of focused reading and submit proof in the MWYMI portal
the same calendar day.
- Read 30 minutes (minimum) each day
- Submit same-day proof inside the MWYMI portal
- No backdating — same-day submissions only
- Consistency beats “binge reading” once a week
- Counts: physical books, eBooks, Kindle, articles (if logged clearly)
- Counts: nonfiction, fiction, textbooks, biographies, skill-building
- Does NOT count: scrolling social media, comment threads, endless headlines
- Does NOT count: “I listened to a podcast” (unless Rules page allows audiobooks)
This is not “be more educated.” It’s execute focused reading daily.
How to set this up so it stays enforceable
The point is not “which book.” The point is daily time under focus.
Pick reading that you can realistically do every day and prove with clean receipts.
- Choose a primary book (or one theme) for the 30-day run
- Read at the same time daily (morning or pre-bed works best)
- Use a timer (phone timer / app timer / Kindle “reading insights”)
- Track pages or % so progress is visible
- “I’ll read when I feel like it” (you won’t)
- Vague proof with no timer / no progress evidence
- Trying to do “2 hours on Sunday” to make up for missed days
- Reading in tiny distracted fragments while multitasking
Small daily receipts build a real identity.
Proof required
- Daily proof submission inside the MWYMI portal
- Submitted the same calendar day (no backdating)
- Proof must show time spent and reading context (book/page/%/session)
- Entries must be readable and consistent (patterns reviewed to protect integrity)
- Photo of the book + timer screenshot showing 30:00+
- Kindle/Apple Books screenshot showing today’s progress + time/session
- Screenshot of a reading tracker app log (dated) showing 30 minutes
- Photo of pages with a note showing date + page number progress (if readable)
- “Trust me” entries with no proof
- Reused screenshots across different days
- Undated images with no “today” context
- Catch-up submissions for missed days
Success criteria
To successfully complete the challenge:
complete 30 minutes and submit valid same-day proof on at least 27 of 30 days.
- Daily submissions must be on time (same-day)
- Missed days are allowed within the success threshold
- No backdating or bulk “catch-up” entries
I read daily. I learn daily. I execute daily.
Rules (read carefully)
- No backdated submissions
- No recycled proof across different days
- No “I listened instead” unless Rules page explicitly allows audiobooks
- No multitasking proof that doesn’t clearly show reading time
- No tampering, manipulation, or pattern gaming
- Any book/format that is clearly reading (physical or digital)
- Fiction or nonfiction (your choice)
- Switching books mid-challenge if proof stays clear and consistent
- Short notes/context with your submission
- Reading at any time of day (as long as it’s same-day proof)
If it looks like fraud, it gets treated like fraud.
