Why this challenge matters

Screen time isn’t “just a habit.” It’s a direct tax on your focus, sleep, energy, relationships, and execution.
Reduce it and your day opens up — your brain calms down, your productivity increases, and your discipline gets louder.
This challenge turns “I need to stop scrolling” into I prove my limit daily.

This is discipline training. Your phone is the battlefield. Your attention is the prize.

What you must do

Reduce your daily screen time and submit proof in the MWYMI portal the same calendar day.
This challenge is based on your device’s built-in screen-time reporting (iOS Screen Time / Android Digital Wellbeing).

Daily target (choose one path)
  • Path A — Hard cap: Stay at or under your challenge limit daily (set on the Rules page).
  • Path B — Reduction: Reduce your baseline by the required amount (set on the Rules page).
  • Either way: your “pass/fail” is based on OS-reported totals (not self-reports).
  • Consistency beats “one perfect day” followed by relapse.
What counts as “screen time”
  • Counts: Total daily screen time reported by your OS (all apps, total time).
  • Counts: Time in social apps, browsers, video apps, games, etc.
  • Does NOT count: “I was productive” as an excuse if the total is over.
  • Does NOT count: manually edited data or non-OS trackers.
Non-negotiable: hit the daily standard + submit proof same day.
This is not “be more mindful.” It’s execute a limit.

Proof required

  • Daily proof submission inside the MWYMI portal
  • Submitted the same calendar day (no backdating)
  • Proof must clearly show today’s date and total screen time
  • Entries must be readable and consistent (patterns reviewed to protect integrity)
Accepted proof examples
  • iPhone: Screen Time screenshot showing “Today” + total time
  • Android: Digital Wellbeing screenshot showing “Today” + total time
  • Daily OS summary page showing total screen time + date context
  • OS widget screenshot that clearly indicates “Today” + total
Not accepted
  • “Trust me” entries with no OS screenshot
  • Old screenshots reused across different days
  • Undated screenshots with no “Today” indicator
  • Catch-up submissions for missed days
Keep it simple: OS screenshot + today’s total. Clean proof protects fairness.

Success criteria

To successfully complete the challenge: meet the daily screen-time standard and submit proof on at least 27 of 30 days.

  • Daily submissions must be on time (same-day)
  • Missed days are allowed within the success threshold
  • No backdating or bulk “catch-up” entries
This is beginner-friendly, not consequence-free. You’re building the identity:
I control my attention. I control my life.

Rules (read carefully)
